French photographer Adeline Mai, 1989, has an impressive body of work inspite of her young age. Although still studying photography at the Gobelins School, she has been making a name for herself in the last few years. She makes intimate and poetic images of young people. The following photographs come from the series Shall we steal a Cadillac, Men in Bed and Sulfuric acid, for the eyes of men who tell lies.
Lina Scheynius, Sweden, 1981, is a self-taught photographer who takes pictures of her own life. Often she is not only behind the camera, but also in the frame. She photographs the people in her life and shows them as a diary. In 2008 and 2009 she published books with titles: 01 and 02. They came out in an edition of 500 and are completely sold out.
Photographer Ryan McGinley, 1977, from the USA is one of those photographers that has reinvented photography. Although there are some similarities to be found with photographers as Nan Goldin, his photographs are much more joyfull and transmits carelessness and innocence. Recently he has been working on a series called Everybody knows this is nowhere.
In 2009 Ryan presented his book Moonmilk which was well received by critics worldwide. We'd like to show you some pictures from I know where the summer goes and some other projects of his.
